Giulia Torri

Giulia Torri è professore associato di Anatolistica presso l’Università di Firenze e Fellow della Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung. I suoi principali interessi di ricerca spaziano dalla religione e la magia alla ricostruzione del sistema scribale e dell’amministrazione dello stato ittita. Ha curato varie edizioni di testi cuneiformi ed è attualmente epigrafista e codirettore del progetto di scavo archeologico presso il sito di Ushaklı Hoyük in Turchia (Università di Firenze e Pisa).

Giulia Torri is full professor in Anatolia Studies at the University of Florence and Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung. Her major research interests range from religion to magic to the reconstruction of the scribal system and the administration with the Hittitian state. She has edited many cuneiform texts and she is currently the epigraphist and co-director of the archeological excavation project at the Ushaklı Hoyük site in Turkey (Universities of Florence and Pisa).
