Piero Cimbolli Spagnesi

Piero Cimbolli Spagnesi (Roma 1960) Architetto, dottore di ricerca in Storia e Restauro dell’Architettura, è Professore ordinario di Storia dell’Architettura nella Sapienza – Università di Roma, dove afferisce al Dipartimento di Storia, Disegno e Restauro dell’Architettura. Tra 1993 e 2006 ha diretto numerose missioni di ricerca in Mediterraneo centrale e mare Egeo orientale, Balcani, Perù, Turchia, Tunisia, Messico e Pakistan. Direttore della Joint Technical Research Unit on Intelligence, Defense and Recovery in Architecture sempre della Sapienza, membro del Comitato consultivo dell’Ufficio storico della Marina Militare, è autore di più di centoventi pubblicazioni tra monografie, articoli su riviste di classe A e saggi vari.

Piero Cimbolli Spagnesi (Rome 1960) Architect, PhD in History and Restoration of Architecture, he is full professor of History of Architecture at the Sapienza University of Rome, where he works at the Department of History, Design and Restoration of Architecture. Between 1993 and 2006 he directed numerous research missions in the central Mediterranean and eastern Aegean seas, the Balkans, Peru, Turkey, Tunisia, Mexico and Pakistan. Director of the Joint Technical Research Unit on Intelligence, Defense and Recovery in Architecture, also of the Sapienza, member of the Advisory Committee of the Historical Office of the Navy, he is the author of more than one hundred and twenty publications including monographs, articles in class A journals and various essays.
