Luca Prosperini

Luca Prosperini was born in 1976 in Anagni (FR), where he obtained the high school diploma on classical studies. He graduated in Medicine at the University Sapienza of Rome in 2004,
He became boardcertified Neurologist at the Second Faculty of Medicine of Sapienza University in Rome in 2009. In 2013, he gained his PhD on experimental and clinical neurology.
He was awarded at the Joint Congress of the European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis & Rehabilitation in Multiple Sclerosis (Copenhagen, 2013) for his research entitled
“Changes in the microarchitecture of white matter bundles after Wii balance board training in multiple sclerosis “. From June 2014 he is a Researcher at the Department of Neurology and
Psychiatry of Sapienza University in Rome. He has authored about 50 peer-reviewed scientific publications, and he is an Associate Editor of the international journals BMC Neurology, ISRN Neurosciences, and BioMed Research International.

Winner of the 6th Competition “Prize for PhD thesis on Disability”.
