Federica Della Rovere is graduated in Environmental Sciences in Sapienza University of Rome, where she obtained the Botanical Sciences PhD in 2013. Presently, she is a Post-Doc researcher in the Environmental Biology Department of the same University. Her research is focussed on the mechanisms affecting the initiation and development of adventitious roots in planta and in vitro systems, with a special interest in the genetic and hormonal control affecting this organogenic process. Another interest is about the somatic embryogenic process in numerous species, and the genetic and hormonal control involved in xylogenesis. Della Rovere is author of seven peer-reviewed papers and several communications in international and national congresses.
