Claudio Battilocchio is currently a Pfizer-funded postdoctoral research associate at University of Cambridge, working on the Open Innovation Programme. His research is focussed on the application of flow technologies to bridge the gap between industry and academia. He is also committed to push the boundaries of scientific discoveries towards novel strategies to build molecules. He carried out his undergraduate studies at Sapienza University of Rome, receiving his degree in Medicinal Chemistry in 2008 (cum laude). In 2009, he started his PhD with Prof. Mariangela Biava focusing his research programme on developing new molecular hybrids. In 2011, he worked with Ian Baxendale (now Professor at Durham University) and Prof. Steven V. Ley FRS at University of Cambridge.
