Davide Comite received the master’s degree (cum laude) in Communications Engineering in 2011 and the Ph.D. degree in Electromagnetics and Mathematical Models for Engineering in 2015, both from ‘Sapienza’ University, Rome, Italy, where he is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher. He was a visiting PhD student at the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications of Rennes, University of Rennes 1, France, in 2014 and a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center of Advanced Communications, Villanova University, PA, USA, in 2015.
His scientific interests currently involve the study of the scattering from natural surfaces, the GNSS reflectometry over the land, and the microwave imaging. He is also interested in the study and design of leaky-wave antennas and in the generation of non-diffracting waves and pulses.
Davide has been the recipient of a number of awards at national and international conferences. He is an Associate Editor of the IET Microwaves, Antennas and Propagation, the IET Journal of Engineering, and IEEE ACCESS. He is an IEEE Senior member and an URSI Senior Member.
